“N Ap Boule” is a short film directed and produced by Ms. Benjamin as part of her master’s thesis at the University of Greenwich, England. The film addresses insecurity, maternal health, and the entire healthcare system in Haiti. The choice of this specific subject aimed to spark discussions about the profound impact of the persistent violence that affects all aspects of Haitian life, whether one lives in the country or abroad.
After being screened in more than 10 countries, including Benin, Haiti, Canada, England, Portugal, and the United States, at film festivals and community events organized by associations and universities through our partner, Street Team Productions, our goal is to continue this mission and encourage Haitians to take action to change the destiny of their country. We also hope to inspire influential people to improve the maternal health of Black women worldwide, a cause that is particularly close to our hearts.
You too can join us on this journey by requesting a screening through this link. The screenings are free for all events organized in Haiti and are offered by local organizations, including associations, schools, and universities.
We extend our sincerest thanks to our amazing crew, actors, advisors, technical partners, and generous donors, without whom this project would not have been possible.

Through film, I explore human rights, gender justice, and the lived realities that often go unheard.
