Description
In an undereducated society like Haiti, steeped in stereotypes and taboos, HIV-positive people face deadly stigma, prejudice, and misunderstanding. Directed by Haitian filmmaker Ricardo Tranquillin, O-, the upcoming feature, opens a window into the lives of those stigmatized and boycotted because of their HIV infection. In partnership with Sekoya Studio and supported by the Department of State in Haiti, Fokal Haiti, and Artists Institute, the film aims to promote the empowerment of those daffected by HIV and calls for respect for their rights.
